We have now uploaded a video of the BECTU Seminar held at the Plasa Show 2015 in London's ExCel Centre on the 5th October.
Speakers on the panel are:
Emma Holbrook - Director of Making the Cut
Sodie Mason - BECTU National Official, OffWestEnd.com
Noel McCLean - BECTU National Official
David Byrne - Artistic & Executive Director of New Diorama, London.
We have very kindly been invited by BECTU to join them as part of their panel for a seminar 'Making The Cuts' in the Plasa Show on the 5th October at 3.45pm at the ExCel Centre in London. Registration can only be done via their website.
A big day for us both and especially Emma who will be up on stage alongside a team of panelists!
We are pleased to have more screenings booked in June. One at The BikeShed Theatre on Sunday the 21st of June in Exeter and the other at Somerset Film in Bridgwater on Friday the 26th of June both starting at 7.30pm with doors for 7pm. Both of these events will hold a discussion after the film. We are also thrilled that our events are now part of the BBC Get Creative Campaign which we hope will help us reach out to further audiences across the country to share this very important film and also for us to hear what has to be said in our discussion evenings.
After over 2 years of production, we finally had our official premiere in the Creative Innovation Centre in Taunton (CICCIC) on the 5th June 2015. We had a good turnout from all different types of people from the local community.
We also produced a small batch of DVDs which were available to buy at £5. DVDs are only currently available at screenings until further notice.
We want to thank the CICCIC for supporting our project and are very grateful to have such a diverse, supportive and approachable venue in Taunton. Many thanks to Andrew Knutt & Richard Holt for their hard work!
We will be posting news and latest articles to view for all and for those who do not have access to social media like our Facebook page.
Latest news from our screening in Totnes at the Kingsbridge Inn on the 22nd Feb 2015. A very successful showing plus discussion in the evening. Many thanks to Arts Lab at Dartington for inviting us as their first event.
